Super Samurai Sweeper
Rated 3 / 5 stars February 16, 2012
I really wanted to 5 this. Cool style, great fight scenes, awesome concept.
This is way too hard. Unless you are very lucky with your clicks, you will never get the silver required to purchase any of the big upgrades, and without them you will never gain any kind of real ground in your searches. Expand the game, add easier difficulty levels, and add basic commands to your companions like Chisugi said.
Also, TKillVirus had a good point, that the animations get a little old. Maybe add special "critical" attacks that your characters perform for critical damage from time to time, something random but with a special animation (I have "straw hat samurai" in mind here, like with a flash of white and some heads go flying, but whatever). Perhaps have different modes, like the current mode be action mode where you choose where your points go, and maybe have an RPG mode where experience levels up your characters, and you get new characters to join you at certain levels? Maybe have a "random province generator" or "random game" option where you choose the number of provinces, starting province area size, favored enemy...
I don't know, just throwing crap out there.
All in all, I'd like to see this further polished and then thrown on steam or XBLA. You have a really cool concept here, and it could be a hell of a lot of fun. I'm eager to throw my money at you as long as I know I'm getting quality. In it's current state it's downright frustrating, and this crosses the line between getting pissed and having fun (but not that far--I'm having fun up until the point I lose 4 times in a row). I'm going to add this to my favorites. I'm hoping you do continue to polish it. Keep up the good work, and look out for us pussies who suck at games but still like to play them.

Not the same, but...
Not as good as the first, but excellent none the less. I appreciate the hard work you very obviously put into this. The models are great, with very fluid animation. The music is fantastic. The multi-layered parallax backgrounds were beautiful to behold, with some great detail I haven't seen since Shadow of the Beast.
Maybe I'm hung up on it not seeming to be very "hand-drawn." It seemed too smooth, somehow.
I'm enjoying it very much though, and hope it helps with whatever portfolio your building or whatever business you're running.

Loose controls.
Extremely loose controls. Most of the time I dashed when i didn't want to because I was trying to line myself up to land on an enemy.
Good game, but the controls need a little work.

I love echo.
Sweet jesus this is hilarious. I have no idea why, but echo is hilarious in this. I don't even care how useless this review is.

AMIGA.
Reminds me of some old Amiga games. I can't think of which ones though. Maybe just the demo's that ran before the games if it was cracked.
Loved that stuff.
Also, this shit rocks like crazy. I will listen to it while playing Sven Coop.

Dig this.
I dig it like crazy. Love it. Has a kind of 90's Daft Punk feel to it. But that's only because Daft Punk is really the only techno/dance music I listen to ;_;
Anyways, good stuff.
If you have any other recommendations to dance music I should listen to, PLEASE TELL ME. I need to broaden my horizons.
10'd, 5'd, d/l'd.
Thanks! You should check out Gui Borratto and the Field; they're some of my favorite electronic musicians. The song Atol by Gui Borratto was somewhat of an inspiration for me to make this song.

Looks like...
You had to have been somewhat inspired by the King Crimson album cover.
Maybe it's the eyes.

Excellent piece of work.
Ten'd and five'd. Fav'd.
I watch this flash at least once a month. I can't believe I haven't reviewed it yet. Such an incredibly cool flash.
I also like how the character of ccc city is fleshed out a bit more in this one; for example the tall building, cactus frying, dicehead, butterfly briefcase, fancy goldfish, the various location markers in space, and the general look of the main character all lent to the mise-en-scene. Or whatever you want to call it.
Your attention to backwards-detail was pretty damn eye-catching too. Everything from the wind in the main's hair, to the cops talking to each other, to briefcase girl's excited movements, to even how the smoke interacts with the main character.
Anyways, very, very good. I got hooked with days after those days ++, and I'm going to have to stay after finally commenting on Gravitaxis ++.
I wholeheartedly dig this inside and out. Also, it helps that the girl at the end loop is cute too. Dig the purple highlights. Kinda seems like a perpetual rave in ccc city.
Anyways, keep up the good work. I'm looking forward to seeing more of this.

Very good.
I liked this quite a lot. A fucked up disney kind of cartoon.
Seemed to strike me as a metalocalypse set in candyland.
